2012 Strider ST3 Balance Bike

Building on the worldwide success of the original STRIDER, the new 2012 STRIDER ST-3 Balance Bike takes Toddler bike fit & performance to a whole new level!

Enhancements for 2012 include quick release seat and hanldebar clamps and custom handlebar pad for safety. 

Specifially designed for children, ages 1 - 5, the Strider™ PREbike  is lightweight and easy to control.   It features adjustable handlebars and one of the lowest, adjustable seats in the industry to accommodate your growing child.

Assembly takes approximately five minutes for even the most mechanically-challenged among us. That’s right. Just insert, adjust and tighten the seat, wheels and handle bars, and your child will be zipping along on the Strider™!

Design:
The Strider’s lightweight design and low center of gravity make it easy to maneuver and control, giving your child a safe and secure feeling. And the bike’s adjustable seat height starts at 11 inches from the ground, accommodating the shortest of legs.

Control is further enhanced with a low, lightweight handlebar design.  And, by using plastic, instead of traditional, heavier, steel ball bearings, the bike is easier to push and eliminates grease stains! And, riders reach forward rather than up, which gives them better leverage and maneuverability.

As your child becomes more confident, the Strider’s integrated foot rest provides a place for both feet while coasting along.

Recommended Ages:
1 - 5 years of age

Weight:
At just 6.9 pounds, the Strider™ is one of the lightest balance bikes on the market. It's about 1/3 the weight of a typical 12" pedal bike with training wheels and is extremely easy to load and unload. Trust us, this is a great advantage!

Tires:
The Strider™ is outfitted with puncture-proof, EVA polymer tires. These tires eliminate flats and are approximately half the weight of an inflatable tire and a lighter bike equals greater control.
