Pedal Free Bikes originated after we fell in love with the balance bike!

As parents to three young children, we are always in the market for fun, safe activities that allow us to enjoy the outdoors. But, pushing a stroller filled with children is exhausting and doesn't provide much of an energy outlet for the kids, and we weren't thrilled with trikes or the training-wheel options out there.

Enter the balance bike!

Once our oldest found the right balance bike, there was no turning back. He absolutely loved it and it took him only a few months to transition onto a two-wheeler (although he still loves riding his balance bike just for fun). Our daughter started on the same bike at 18 months, and now our youngest son is patiently awaiting his turn.

Finding the perfect balance bike wasn't quite as easy as learning to ride one. We definitely went through a couple before we found a good fit for our son. We realized that creating a site like pedalfreebikes.com would save other parents like us and their children a lot of hassle. Plus, we have a ton of fun testing all of the bikes that we offer on our website!

We realize that every child is different and may respond better to certain balance bike models, so we try to provide as much guidance and information on our site as we can.

All of the bikes we carry are top quality products; our children and their friends have made sure of this by putting them through extremely rigorous tests!

Our main goal is to make the balance bike search less overwhelming while ensuring you come away happy with your experience with us.
